    Ram's New Hydraulic Clutch Release Bearing For GM's 2010 Camaro

    RAM has developed a new hydraulic clutch release bearing kit for GM’s 2010 Camaro. Equipped with a spacer its principal benefit is adjustability, allowing for easy set-up height to be obtained with most aftermarket clutch systems. RAM also contends this new kit has faster action, both on and off the clutch pedal, than its OEM counterpart, and increased travel length over a stock bearing system, a further benefit to the racer.     Ram's Force 10.5: a New Range of Strap-Driven Clutches For Ford Modular and GM LS-Series Engines

    The new RAM Force 10.5 clutch-flywheel assembly for Ford Modular and GM LS-series engines employs a strap-driven dual disc assembly that transmits over 950 ft-lbs of torque and transmits it quietly. For smooth engagement, these units use Ram’s 300-series steel-backed friction discs and a marcel spring. For clutch strength and stability, the friction discs feature an eight-spring hub assembly with urethane encapsulated springs. And for lightness, a billet aluminum flywheel is employed with a ¼-inch thick steel insert to dissipate the heat. With a clamping force of 2,400 pounds, all assemblies are built to factory height dimensions for easy installation–no modifications necessary. (DJ)

    Ram Kevlar Pilot Bushings

    Kevlar is the ideal material. It is self-lubricating, offers low susceptibility to damage from heat, maintains dimensional stability, and reduces wear significantly when compared to bronze bushings and, especially, needle-roller bearings. These bushings are now available for small-block (including LS) and big-block Chevrolets using bronze bushings or needle-roller bearings. They also suit Ford applications using needle roller-bearings, such as late model 5.0L and 4.6L engines. Use Ram part number BU656K for Chevrolet engines and for Ford, part number BA50MK. (DJ)

    Ram Clutches’ new Force 9.5 dual-disc clutch-flywheel assembly transmits up to 800lb ft of torque, transmits it quietly, and suits all GM LS engines—including the 2010 Camaro—as well as 4.6 and 5.4L Fords and most other applications. In addition to doubling the torque capacity, the Force 9.5 is light, weighing approximately 35lb, resulting in improved engine response, faster acceleration and deceleration. Devised as an entry-level unit, Ram’s Force 9.5 is a direct bolt-in fit.
