40th Anniversary Ignition Box with Lifetime Limited Warranty

40th Anniversary 6AL, (PN 6440 2010) marks 40-years of ignition performance for MSD Ignition and we’re celebrating with a limited edition 6AL Ignition Control. The special ignition control features the original MSD Ignition logo from years ago, cast into a one-off housing. Each unit will be numbered and when the 4,000 units are gone – they’re gone! The 40th Ignition is supplied with special anniversary vintage decals. Most importantly we’ve scrapped our 1-year limited warranty to give this special box a limited lifetime warranty!  (GJ)

Vortech Cap and Rotor Kit

MSD now offers a heavy duty replacement version of GM’s funky Vortech cap and rotor (PN 8017). These caps offer a corrected position of the terminals according to cylinder position to ease the routing of the wires for some of your late ‘90’s GMs. The new pieces are molded from a more durable material for improved spark isolation and last the life of your vehicle. Brass terminals make it complete.

Start and Step Timing Control

This compact controller (PN 8987) provides an adjustable start retard to help high compression engines crank over easily, plus has a single stage retard. The unit connects between the distributor and the MSD Ignition and is less than 3” in any dimension. Step retard dial is adjusted 1° - 15° in single increments. Start retard dial is adjustable from 5°, 10°, 15°, 20°.

HEAT HEI Module
